This beauty was built by Newline skateparks in 2006 and I gotta say it looks crazy! Unfortunately, the company I work for only flies to winnipeg in the winter so i've not yet had a chance to check it out. However, I wanted to add this park to the list so people can see what a real skatepark should look like. Covering a total area of over 44,000 square feet, this park consists of a 30,000 square foot plaza and a 8,500 square foot bowl complex with a 17 foot cradle. This park has the best of both worlds... A plaza section inspired by great spots located around the world and a tranny section with varying heights with traditionnal and pool coping. Plus, get a load of this, the park saw the light of day thanks to the determination and donation of the J.W. Burns Fondation... How cool is that!
