WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The new Quebec city skate plaza officially opened on the 21st of june 2011 and we finally have a skatepark that rivals any other park in the country! We're talking about 27 000 square feet (3,000 square meters). The budget was about 1,2 million and design and construction was be done by a Consortium composed of Option Aménagement, Spectrum Skatepark Creations ltd and Planex Consultants. When I say this skatepark has a little something for everybody, I really mean it! This park will still be fun 10 years from now. I also predict that in a few years from now will be seeing an explosion of talent coming out of Quebec city that we've never seen before. Let's hope that this park will soon be imitated in the montreal area, God knows we need it! If there are any city conseilmen looking at this page... That's what a REAL skatepark looks like!
