Description

Thanks go out to Sebastien Caouette for the pictures. Here's the info from the designer: "In the beginning, Princeville wanted a modular park , but thanks to the skaters, they changed their minds. The design is to allow a maximum of function with a very limited budget. The result is a Skateplaza in the shape of an inverted Z." With a budget of 70 000$ any argument towards modulares parcs disapear. Show me any modulare parc for 70 000$ with asphalte and compare. Why metal trannies on the Jersey Barriers and metal on the tops? Metal transitions because of the budget and metal tops on the Jersey barriers to protect from BMX's. Experience shows that BMX pegs destroy jersey barriers in a very little amount of time. However, apparentely it grinds very well. Comments from Sebastien: "What do the skaters think about the park? Most think it's really cool, some think it's too hard. I think it's really fun."
