This skatepark is huge! built in 2003 by Spectrum skateparks, it was the biggest in North America. The park is divided in a street section with beginner, intermediate and expert sections, a clover shaped bowl with varying trannies and a giant fullpipe. Next to the fullpipe is a BMX section. There's lights and a speaker system for music!

Unfortunately, it wasn't very nice out when I was there and there was water in the fullpipe. However, I can tell you one thing...that thing is scary! Did I like this skatepark...I gotta admit I was a little disappointed. For a park that size, I found the design lacking a little originality. Plus, the cement was rough. Now don't think I'm being an ingrate...The park is a thousand times better than anything we have in Quebec. I guess after waiting so long to skate it, my expectations we're pretty high. I would like to congratulate the city of Calgary for investing in their youth. Wow! Politicians of Quebec, please take note.
