Update june 2008 : The Brossard skatepark just got a much deserved facelift. Spinworks got the contract and Dan Vez of South-Parc designed the new park. The idea was to use the existing modules by fixing them and making them better than adding some street elements in order to give the park more of a spot feeling. They added ledges, Jersey Barriers, pole jams and more. The concept is original and the result is pretty sick. Even sicker is the bill... a little under 60 000$ !!! I would like to thank the city for having the guts to give Dan creative liberty. The result is a park that will be appreciated for years to come. Let's hope that other cities follow their example.
